Lannis Shaffon- Isle of Desolation: At first, he is merely a schoolyard bully at the Malforia Training School. However, after his capture by the Katar Ajadun he showed promise in gladiatorial battles used to entertain the people. After he was viewed in battle by Thulvin Dorivre, the Master Sarike of Katar, Lannis was taken under Thulvins' wing and rapidly rises through the ranks of the Ajadun, eventually ending up in the high echelons of power as the Master Sarike's personal bodyguard. He considers Thulvin as a father to him, and his transformation to the side of the Katarans seems assured.
